As well as renewable energy systems, we can also offer full Gas Safe certified services to customers. These include high efficiency gas condensing boilers, either combi or heat only. We recommend good quality well engineered boilers from established manufacturers. We are a Viessmann accredited installer and can offer a 5 year manufacturers guarantee on the boiler and 10 years on the heat exchanger. We offer installation of new boilers and repair and maintenance where appropriate to existing boilers. We will always try to install a weather compensated boiler, which detects outside temperature to determine optimum burner power, and can save up to 20% from your gas bills.

Underfloor heating was invented by the Romans thousands of years ago and is a more efficient method of heating a property than radiators. This is because the underfloor heating pipes heat the mass of the floor which radiates heat upwards. Radiators, or convectors as they should be known, warm the air in the room which then rises through convection leaving the ceiling as the warmest part of the room and the floor the coolest! As lower flow temperatures are required than for radiators, less energy is required.

There are two main types of underfloor heating: solid floor and suspended floor. Solid floor consists of a structural concrete slab with insulation laid on top. To this the underfloor heating pipes are fixed in a set pattern and a screed laid on to this.
